Mortgage Articles - Editorial Guidelines

Members of MortgageAdvisors.org are encouraged to submit original content for publication on the site. By publishing mortgage related articles, members have an opportunity to establish themselves in specific areas of the mortgage industry. Mortgage Advisors who choose to participate can gain credibility with original content regarding timely issues, reports on the real estate climate in specific regions, opinion pieces and other mortgage industry topics. Published articles will typically be followed up with a press release distributed by MortgageAdvisors.org. Articles will include a link to the member's Mortgage Advisors page and a direct email link.

Pending editorial review, articles will be published on the site, free of charge. To have your articles accepted quickly and easily, please reference the following editorial guidelines:

Submissions should be between 300 and 1,200 words.

Articles should not include any self-promotion or hyperlinks to other web sites.

Content should be submitted to info@mortgageadvisors.org as the body of the email or as an attachment. Please use a program with spell check and grammar check before submitting.

In addition to the body of the article, please include the following information:

  • Article Title
  • First & Last Name
  • Headshot of Author (optional)
  • Author Bio, 25 words or less (optional)
  • E-Mail Address
  • Phone Number
  • Company Name
  • Address
  • City, State, Zip

Content must be the original work of the Mortgage Advisors member submitting the article. You may not submit anything that would violate copyright or property rights of others.

Content must be exclusive to MortgageAdvisors.org and may not be published or distributed elsewhere.

Submissions should not contain any illegal, threatening, offensive, libelous, defamatory or otherwise objectionable information or claims, and should not include any personal information about any other party.
